be hosting a Marching Band competition on Saturday, September 12,
2009. Much help will be needed for this event, including help with
parking, concessions, ticket sales, etc. If you are interested in

Program

Mr. Shook recently
added the 2009 parade song "Living In America" to his
Earthlink website. It is listed under Alumni
and Newbie Music
and is the far right column. He also included a recording of it.
The 8th Grade Band and the 8th
Grade Choir recently participated in OMEA District 10 competitions.
Here is a short note from Mrs. Steele regarding those endeavors:
"Congratulations to the 8th Grade Choir for receiving a Superior Rating
in Class B at the District 10 Large Group contest Friday, May 8th.
Congratulations to the 8th Grade Band for receiving a Superior Rating in
Class A at the District 10 Large Group contest Saturday, May 9th.
Mrs. Steele, Mr. Perry and the whole LH Music Department are so proud of
you!"
